  • Peggy the Much Wenlock Piglet

To celebrate the original Olympian games in Much Wenlock we teamed up with local author Jocelyn Adams to publish a children’s book. This memorable event is seen through the eyes of Peggy as she takes part in the catch the pig race (a piglet was liberally greased and then men tried to catch her.) In reality the piglet would have met a roasted end but in our book Peggy gets a medal. The illustrations were created in line and wash. Illustrated, written, published and printed in Shropshire we are very proud of this 24pp book which is available from www.ellinghampress.co.uk
